The table is equipped with a wired bbSafe™ remote control with a large 2.8-inch IPS technology screen. Optionally, the Famed OPTIMA can be operated with a wireless remote control rCover™, and for staff convenience, a backup control panel pDetach™ with override function can be mounted on the column. All table movements (with the exception of headrest positioning) are operated from the remote control. The remote controls are equipped with a system protecting against accidental change of position. The screen displays the battery level (as in a smartphone), the position of the table top and a warning message indicating that the battery is flat. The table has a function of electric blocking the position (extendable feet).
